    If the R8 is going to be the intended competition, I am extremely interested in seeing what this thing will look like. I don't care for the concept shown in the picture.... Here's to hoping that it won't look like that!

    I'm OK with an R8 competitor.
    But we all need to keep in mind that Jaguar used to compete with the 911 a long long time ago. I'd like to see a 911 competitor down the road.

    The last thing Lincoln EVER needs is an R8 competitor. But Ford could use one, such cars can be very profitable if built in volume, using mass-produced components. And Jaguar is a perfect brand for that.
