    Jaguar prices XFR.

"Jaguar has announced that its 2010 XFR, the range-topping model of the mildly revised 2010 XF lineup, will start from $80,000 when it goes on sale later this year. Powered by an uprated, almost all-new AJ-series V8 motor, the XFR also receives numerous stylistic and handling-oriented changes as a part of its transformation into an R-series vehicle.

As expected, the XFR sits lower than the XF, and has a subtly more aggressive look. Adding to that look are 20-inch wheels ó covering cross-drilled rotors ó and quad-exhaust outlets, further separating the XFR from the lesser XF. Larger front air intakes and a subtle rear spoiler are also part of the XFR package."

    Re: Jaguar prices XFR.

$80,000 is well beyond my budget for my next car.... unless something miraculous happens with my stock options.... But in this economy??
    But this car is SWEET!!!!

I've been looking over the XFR specs for some time now. And it's just amazing the technology and luxury they crammed into this thing.

I still wish they did better plastics on the side mirrors... and the crappy rear armrest and cupholders make the STS' look premium.... But other than those 2... XF is quite a machine.

The article doesn't mention the XF Portfolio, which is also in line for production.

It's good to see Jaguar rejoining the ranks of the performance sedans. It's good to see them go back to their heritage here.
