    Jaguar 'Growler' E Type

If you're one of the many longing for a redesign of Jaguar's aging XK platform, wait no longer: the Growler E, Vizualtech's latest re-interpretation of the E-Type, will be built, in very small numbers, according to a new report.

Yep that presses the right buttons! I think the front valance is too bold though.

The rear view is exceptional. The side view is very good, except for the lower level venti-port, which seems too busy.

My main problem is the four-eyed look up front. I would have gone with two light assemblies and a slightly thicker bumper bar.

    Overall, very nice.

    Woah!

I've never loved Jags much, but the old E-Type has always had a place in my automotive heart. This thing looks fantastic!

I wonder how single headlamps shaped as cat's eyes would look?

Together with the Bertone concept car for a small sedan, that was rejected by Jaguar, it demonstrates that there's still a lot of juice left in Jaguar's old design language. Someone should try to come up with a successor to the Mk II.

I could do without the wire wheels. A little to retro.

It's nice but I like the production XK just as much. I'm not that crazy about the retro redo's to a production model. The proportions always look off.

    Re: Jaguar 'Growler' E Type

The title of this thread is misleading as this car is NOT an actual Jaguar, just a modern interpretation(a very good one at that) of one created & to be built by Vizualtech, not Jaguar itself!

I highly suggest that the title be renamed more accurately.

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!
