Or do you think this MPV-hatchback-estate crossover is too European-ish?
One of the stars of the CitroŽn stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the new DS5 luxury crossover. The DS5 is the third member of CitroŽn’s premium DS line and made its world debut at the Shanghai Motor Show last April. The DS5′s styling is heavily influenced by the C-Sportlounge concept car that was shown at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is 177 inches long and 72 inches wide, dimensions that are similar to those of the Peugeot 3008. This is hardly a coincidence: the DS5 is based on the 3008, not on the C5 as its name would imply. Both the 3008 and the DS5 were given five-star crash test ratings by the EuroNCAP organization, Europe’s rough equivalent to the U.S.’s IIHS.
