I wish Cadillac would start issuing some pictures of the CT6 the way Jaguar is doing with the XF. Perhaps next week?
I don't know man, looks too simple. Lets wait for the live pics)
Even the materials gap is lost.
I feel like going t-rex on everyone's complete lack of style. FFS, you people want glossy wood???
Now, if there's one square inch of touchable plastic, like in the XE, then all of the hate is wholeheartedly deserved. Luxury car interiors for the most part suck IMO. I've been let down in person too many times now. Leather, aluminum, glass, ceramics, wood whose experience feels like real wood. That should be the minimum standard. It's laughable how stratospheric you have to go to get a car interior experience to match a consumer electronics or home/interior design experience.
I thought Lincoln was headed that way, but they're barely starting, and limiting it to Black Label is bush league. Cadillac had a good start relative to their segment, but think its 2007 again with that glossy plastic center stack, and then the tacky as F glossy wood. BMW is hopeless short of the 7, Mercedes is maybe kinda starting to get it but were previously disgraceful with anything below the S, Audi is squarely meh but might be showing promise with the new Q7 direction, and would be showing more promise if the new TT backed itself up in the materials department.
Volvo's the only one getting it, but I bet they won't extend it to the next S/V60 range, so not really.

But hey, if the materials are exquisite and i comes in 20-30 different color and materials combinations, like most jaguars tend to do, then it's just a matter of finding the right one that works.
