This interior looks so boring. I was expecting more. Hello from the 90s..:
The exterior will be better I guess.
The interior is a step backwards from the current gen. I do not like the XE or XF (this) interior. Hope the XJ is more exciting.
Yes... So, I see Jaguar's new interior look is inspired by 80's Mercedes-Benz austerity?
The more I look at these '80's interiors, of these European and Asian cars, the more I love the interiors of my XTS Platinum, and Escalade!
That's not a Jaguar interior. That's a 15 year old Lexus.
Is the XF going to be DEW-based again? Good platform, but heavyish.
Terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible
Jaguar is chasing the crowd on interior style but WHY? They we're fine doing they're own thing.
I always thought the XK had a good interior. I liked the balance of materials. Same with the prev gen XJ
The interior is oddly spartan to be a Jaguar. I see what he's trying to do with the same nautical look the XJ has with the wraparound dash.
It doesn't look boring, but it doesn't look compelling either. It was fine in the XE. Just not sure it's the proper look for the XF.
And seriously... what's with the pencil box roll top cupholder cover?? The Gen 1 XF had it right.... and now it's devolved into this?
The interiors are getting less and less "British" with every redesign/new model. I don't like that. At all.
But even looking past the interior not being "British" enough, it's just downright pathetic. The new E is going to blow it away. Hell, even the current CTS blows it away:
Total let down. Even more so than the XE's interior at the time it was revealed IMHO.
I'm not liking these new Jaguar interiors either. They very well could be crafted from excellent materials, but the spartan design absolutely ruins in. I see more design in mainstream compact sedan interiors.
There's some kind of minimalist/simplistic theme going on there with both Xe and this new XF, isn't it?... Surely different from what Jaguar had us accustomed to in the past...
