    That's great and all, but I'd rather have a TTV6. Less stress on the motor.

    But, still an awesome feat of engineering.

    At that HP & Torque level, the 3.0tt is a better option.

    Amazing! That's a huge amount of power from such a little engine! And I was and am amazed by the 272 out of mine.

    Could it be that in 20 years a 2.0T will be the "big" engine with V8's and V6's all but gone?

    It's not that they get a lot out of it, GM got 800hp out of the 2.0 Ecotec Turbo a decade ago, it's that they do so with an engine also expected to be frugal, clean and reliable in mundane service - all while do so and making a profit...

    EVO did not have to make a profit, it was a marketing expense.

    My point exactly...

    The further from being a regular ordinary production engine, the easier it is to make big power.

    Go the opposite direction and the more of a challenge it becomes...
