The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan has trickled onto the Web a few hours ahead of schedule today, though only in relatively low-resolution form, and without all of the accompanying details. Nevertheless, the leaked images and info give us a good idea what to expect when the new C-Class debuts at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show.
Redesigned for the new model, the 2012 C-Class gets a new interior to match the higher-end sedans in the lineup, and a new start-stop 7G-Tronic transmission system. Europeans will get diesel engines once again, but specs on the U.S.-bound gasoline engines haven't been revealed yet.
Beyond that, there's not a whole lot to see aside from what there is to see; that is, what you see is what you get. A fresher, perhaps more understated look, and a sharper cabin.
