The inside is nice but not a fan of the out side. Looks alittle long and short?

    I love the dashboard stitching.

The coupe looks much better than the convertible.

LOL my impression as well. It also seems to have the same roof line as the out-going model, a decent used one of which can be had in the <$30k area.

We're expecting the 4.4TT and the M6 later on but idk if the 3.0T was confirmed "officially" or if that was just a "report". Don't remember. Wouldn't be surprised if they did, though.

you'd be insane to pay that much.. they are abused and more expensive to fix than you think...

After BMW free care expires.. you better stay away

Yep, the point though is that they depreciate rapidly - and for good cause.

This one will depreciate rapidly too as does the 7, even after they fixed the ugly bum on it. And seriously I do like this car but 4,400 lbs for a small sporty coupe? Heck give me the last gen M6 with the S85.

This cars engines will mirror the 5 series from 535i, to 550i , to M5.

    Re: 2012 BMW 6-Series Coupe

What is interesting though is how fast BMW has been moving. While we've been waiting for the ATS and XTS, BMW has released:

    -New 1 series
-New 3 series (will be launched along side the ATS)
    -New X3
    -New 5 series (and M5)
    -New 5 series GT
    -New 6 series coupe/convertible
    -New 6 series gran coupe
    -New 7 series

Then there is the talk of a 2 series and a 4 series and the "i" line (soon to be released i8). I know they're swimming in cash but it's a little disappointing to see GM moving so slowly on Cadillac. We've got no future models planned other than the ATS, XTS and new Escalade way out in 2014. By then most of the BMWs mentioned above would be at mid cycle.

If only Cadillac had BMW's money, BMW is on their way to # 1 in the US this yer...if pesky MB doesn't figure out a way to be # 1. BMW has some compelling products, and compelling engines now...the X1 may also come to the US as well. I must say the X3 is a compelling alternative in its class, especially with the FE numbers and performance numbers I have read from the European tests.
