    Very nice.

You know, we owned an '02 Audi (part of the new-gen). While the interiors are put together very, very well and there are some high-quality pieces, I honestly do not see what all the hype is about. They don't look all that fantastic. In fact, I think Volkswagen's Touraeg has a nicer looking interior than you'd find in most Audis. Odd, since they're the same company.

They seriously botched the front end of that car. The rear end ain't much better. I like the previous S4 better, style-wise. I'm not really feeling the carbon fiber either. Some aluminum trim would help brighten up the interior. I'm sure it goes like stink though, which is always a good thing.

I think the Audi interiors are very well put together and very soild feeling and sounding. Nary a cheapie piece to be found. But I have an issue with their current design direction... both interior and exterior. It's too busy and clutter looking.
Also, the $180 oil changes are an issue with Audi. I find their maintenance costs to be ridiculous. Especially since my 9-5's oil changes slot under $40.... at the dealer.

Looks like the photo shoot took place in early fall in the Midwest... amidst corn and soybean fields. Kind of odd place to do a shoot for a high dollar German machine, don't you think?

    it's nothing bad,believe me I like Audi interiors,but I still see very many similarities to my father's 93' Audi 100. : switches,buttons,air vents,steering wheels look very similar.

    I agree with you.

Lately Audi has gone in a very disturbing direction especially with their interior design. Audi interiors used to flow so beautifully with an elegant simplicity. Now Audi (A6 specifically) is going with obnoxious shapes and a steering wheel hub that apes the large front grill. They all come together with perfect fit and finish, but they don't have the same elegant simplicity as before.

I still really like Audi and their interiors are still top notch, I just think that some of their design decisions are becoming questionable.

Audi along with other luxury brands should work the cost of maintenance into the price of the vehicle for perceived added value. Some manufacturers like BMW are already doing this. I think it is a great idea that should be broadly adopted. This would help keep more people buying/leasing new vehicles every 3 years.

BTW,not all Audi interiors are so great.Interior of Audi A2 is poorly built, there are many noises coming out of the dash, the materials are cheap, the plasticks are very low quality.

Beautiful car, but I'm with Arizona here - the last gen was much better looking.

I have a hard time liking the new Audi fronts, especially since there is so much family resemblance with VW's Passat and Jetta.

Yeah. The old Audi A3 wasn't exactly a Very good car. Decent overall but it wasn't good enough. Dare I say, even the old Ford Focus was a better and cheaper car.

The problem with the old A3, it's because is based on the also depressing Volkswagen Golf MK4. Aside the looks, both the Golf MK4 and the A3, share the same underpinnings.

The old A3 looks dull, the ordinary models are stodgy to drive (they feel soggy) and the 1.6 were slow. Not to mention, the A3 was the beginning of Audi demise in quality followed by the appalling A2 Compact car.

The new Audi A3 is much more improved car overall. The problems on the new one though, are the choppy ride on the sporty versions, the poor visibility and still is rather overpriced IMO.

The A4 is a huge step in the wrong direction versus the A6 and A8.
