Deliveries in Ford’s 20 European markets rose to 126,800, Ford of Europe said in a statement on Tuesday.
The automaker said growth was fueled by double-digit percentage gains in formerly austerity-strapped economies including Italy, Spain and Ireland.
The automaker said six-month sales for the midsize Mondeo jumped 55 percent.
Ford also said it has received more than 6,700 European orders for the Mustang sports car that will go on sale this summer.

It's amazing what adding little bit of American mojo/Aston Martin front-end styling will do for the sales number, gotta say l am very pleased the Ford Fusion is selling like hotcakes in Europe. Nice to see small SUV sales o a role as well GM must be loads of money on the Mokka SUV sales are up +65% in the first six month of 2015. Ford and GM Europe seem to be making a lot of money from its top of the range EU products. BMW 3 Series, VW Passat, Skoda Octavia & Superb OUCH! will all of been hurt by the arrival of the new Aston Martin Mondeo in Europe great news.
Great to see the Stang's European order book sitting at 6,700, its amazing what adding RHD will do to sales numbers in Europe, 2014 LHD only Chevrolet Camaro EU sales of just 932 full year EU sales, more Ford supply/logistics constraints problems coming to Mustang American production lines?
