    Mustang Shooting Brake

I normally don't like taking a car with such a solid heritage like the Mustang and and completely changing it up but this rendering turned out so well I have to give it a pass. I think the Avista would also make a good one.

    Eh.

Market for two doors is tiny. Market for wagons is tiny. 2 door wagons? Salesproof.

How much would this cost (real question here)? It's not even a full tophat, just from the doors back, plus validation, crash testing, and some marketing. I really think that someday either Mustang or Camaro will do this, and the one that dares will enjoy some great goodwill and exposure. Would never be a volume seller, but how many Raptors does Ford sell per year?

Oh while they're at it they should add AWD.

Not a big seller for sure. I like quirky cars for some reason and this one fits the bill while looking great.

Not a big seller but who knows, maybe some folks will grow tired of SUV/CUV and try for a shooting brake to be different.

And it wasn't the 1st time some folks toyed with the idea of a 'Stang wagon. Here some blasts from the past.

I give it an A for effort. Just can't see it selling in any large numbers. I'd take it over any of the current hatchbacks, though!!!!

Didn't GM show a concept of the Firebird/Camaro called the Kammback a long time ago? I was just thinking about it after I saw this and went to Google search and confirmed my hunch... yes they did. It was also done on a 1977 Pontiac Firebird Type K.
