This would be utterly stupid, but I could see men and women of a certain age being ok with it.

Ford typically does a quick course correction regarding Mustang, when they hear from their Mustang enthusiasts.

I am reminded of the first letter received by then CEO Don Petersen, when Mustang was slated to go FWD.

Mr. Petersen stated that the first letter had the salutation: "Dear A$$holes".

Thousands of letters later, the FWD Mustang became the Probe and Mustang remained RWD.

Ford leadership of that era would be reviled for all of eternity, plus a few million years had they allowed that to happen. And to add insult to injury the *******s weren't just planning on it going FWD, but it was effectively a Mazda product. It's unlikely I'd have every purchased another Ford product had they done that.

    Clueless.

Idiot needs to hear back what people think of it.

It's nothing short of blasphemy, and they are oblivious to it.

It's not like every possible name has already been used.

Tap dancing executives phoning it in.
