    Lincoln Corsair PHEV coming

I was at the Tampa Auto Show this weekend not a huge one like the big 4 but big enough where there was a Lincoln rep there from Detroit. We were talking for a little and he let it slip that the Corsair PEV is coming at the LA Auto Show I am guessing it will get the Grand Touring name like the Avaitor. Also today Lincoln posted this on facebook:

Yup. When they first showed the Corsair, they accidentally showed some photos with the charging port for the GT model.

Went grocery shopping, and when I came out, there was a new Corsair parked next to me. Looked very good. Very upscale. It is hard to make a smaller vehicle like that look good.................. and for the most part, they were successful. A mini Aviator.

So unlike with Aviator, Grand Touring here is just another way of saying plug-in hybrid. If it's not going to be a more powerful top of the line option it shouldn't be named Grand Touring and instead should just be the Corsair Hybrid.

What does Grand Touring mean for Lincoln? What expectations should come with a vehicle named as such? Apparently whatever Lincoln says it means at a point in time, so it means nothing really.

Somehow it looked better with the previous Lincoln design language. Probably the next generation will look more cohesive.

this is an all new car. Does not mean you need to like it, but this is not a restyle of the prior car for the new styling language.
