    I dunno, friends.
There may not be a need for a Lincoln Aviator...

Of course there's a need for an Aviator, it just needs to raise the bar compared to this.

FoMoCo has shown they aren't afraid to be early adopters of new technology, I'd love to see what Lincoln could do to add to the features already available on the Platinum Explorer.

Very nice SUV, but there's definitely room above this for an Aviator. While this thing has a nice interior, I would speculate the MKX is even nicer inside, which would be a step "down" from the Aviator.

Lincoln NEEDS an Aviator right now. The last one was a great SUV that was really ahead of its time. It would be nice to see Lincoln bring it back stronger and more luxurious than ever.

    Confusing:

    http://www.ford.com/suvs/explorer/models/

There is a Limited, but the Platinum is a higher trim; In F-150, with the pending release of the Limited trim, it's reversed.

What's with Ford calling it a Full Size (look at the top of your browser with the page opened)?

Strange marketing by the Blue Oval.

Ford has a problem...they cannot build SUVs and trucks expensive enough.

It's coming, with a pretty good chance it'll reuse that name.

$53k for a Ford mid CUV? No thanks. Put that stuff "back on the shelf" and save it for Lincoln. And actually make it look more than like rebadged Ford unlike the MKX and Edge

Nah, that's the GM way of doin' bidness. Save it for Cadillac, and if you don't want a Cadillac (or something Caddy doesn't offer)? That's too bad.

My moms Acadia Denali was $53K sticker without adaptive cruise (not an option), massaging seats (not an option), front and side cameras (not an option) or self parking abilities (not an option).
