Fantastic concept --> production transition. Very surprised. I think it's more trim and athletic than the concept. Seems less fat and actually preferable to the concept imho.

I think that is going to be one heck of a car.

    Very pleased.

Another imitation brought to us by Ford Motor Company.

I suppose they let go of most of their designers and just bought a bunch of trace paper.

Still not impressed. Thinking we saw a great deal of the looks of this car from the production MKZ.. Why the camp at this point?

I don't quite follow what you mean. But to respond to what i think you're saying, this car seems to have a very different stance and presence than the MKZ. I'm glad the Z came out first though because this car would have made the Z debut an afterthought. Instead, the 400hp 3.0T and the new face made some headlines and the refresh got mostly positive, encouraged press.

Granted I'd be a fool to expect anything other than "boos" from GMI when the topic is Lincoln (or Cadillac sometimes)! This place likes to hate everything.

Volvo wants their rear quarter panel back.

Lincoln needs this car badly but man, I just cant seen to grasp the door handle location placement. So freaking strange. This car will need something on the side or it will be as flat as a country barn.

I hate the lack of originality. It's a rolling imitation of cars it aspires to be. At least Cadillac designs there own cars and doesn't just open the luxury playbook and start copy and pasting.

Some of you aren't excited about this car, but Ford is. With the camo you can't get a complete view of the car, and some details are obscured. Besides, once a car is camoed, it's probably more hassle than it's worth to peel it off, so they're just going to leave it on.

Lincoln has managed to steer itself out of the skid, and has seen two years of growth. I don't know which model will really jump-start their resurgence, but I think this will be a nice attention-getter for the brand, even if it's not very high volume.

I liked the concept and if they can stick to its styling, I think it will definitely be popular. Hopefully they give it a good chassis to match its looks.

LOL @ can't grasp the door handle! Great pun!

I actually like that it leaves the sides free and clean, though it's clearly an attention grabber. This is the kind of small but interesting detail that can catch people's attention. It's not going to sell more cars, but it's going be one more cool feature that people will notice. Kind of like the Beretta and Cutlass Supreme coupe B-pillar door handles. No real reason, but just kinda neat.

I don't know what GOT stands for(God of Thursday?); but I guess you can't see the resemblance but it is there, especially in the front, rear and left and right sides. The two look like they were separated at birth.

You're right! They both have wheels, doors and headlights. Identical.
