    2020 Lincoln Corsair Spotted Testing

Behold the latest spy photos of the soon to be released Lincoln Corsair compact crossover. It was spied earlier this year wearing more concealing camouflage, but this latest round of photos reveals the Corsair's sleek roofline and fully finished fascia highlighted with an unmistakable Lincoln latticework grille. Combined with the trademark Lincoln badge—amusingly isolated and emphasized by a telling form-fitting wrap—we are confident that the Lincoln Corsair program is right on track and possibly ahead of schedule. In fact, word leaking out of the Blue Oval camp suggests that with the crossover segment's continued growth, resources have been diverted to speed up the Corsair program, and we might see it in 2020 rather than 2021, which until now was the expected launch date.

I like it, in some ways very much an evolution of the current MKC, but with some Navigator/Aviator influence in the greenhouse/roofline. It also appears to be a bit longer, though that may just be because it also looks lower and A LOT less bloated!

If the interior is anything like the Aviator's, this should be a stylish new entry in the segment.

The interior was in need of major work IMO, both in terms of style and utility. The current MKC/Escape are way to cramped inside compared to most competitors, and the MKC interior lacked any excitement. The MKC is a very flawed vehicle.

Re: 2020 Lincoln Corsair Spotted Testing

This definitely has some Aviator in that Schnoz, but Lincoln does seem to struggle with the styling of C segment, fwd crossovers. And if you think about it that is kinda’ odd because a lot of the styling of the Range Rover Evoque would have seen Ford hands and it looks great. I’m glad that it seems far more likely than not that the next gen Meridian will basically be a shortened version of the Aviator, because Lincoln seems to understand rwd-based styling much better than fwd-based styling.

Yeah, I think the XT4 will probably win on exterior design (I'm really digging how it looks, in person and in photos). The interiors may be a toss-up.

Looks nice. Hopefully the interior draws heavily from Aviator and Navigator.

I think with this and the XT4 that Detroit will have the two best looking compacts. Excited to see what they do with the interior.

XT4 needs a VSport packing at least 300 lbs ft. Of torque, and at least 290 HP, it would sell for about $50.00K

Cayenne, especially it's first generation looked like a boar and it was huge sales success (thanks to Porsche badge of course). Lincoln must work harder.

I wonder why they bothered to cover the sheet metal panels with camo-sheets, when all else is un-masked and clearly identifiable?

From what I've read, it's supposed to be mini Aviator/Navigator inside, which makes sense.
