When will Ford likely add the "Build your own" option for the 2010 Ford Fusion?

3.5L 263 hp should move the Fusion quite well.

Awesome, I will have to check it out. We will likely cross shop the Mercury Milan with the Chevy Malibu, got to do some research.

I am not sure about that security part but the file is 157 kb when the site limit is 19.5kb.

That should not be a problem now. I have increased the size limit.

3 nicely spaced engine options all with 6 speed automatics! The car could do very well. I'm positive the automatics are the joint venture with GM.

I am disappointed, but not surprised that the Milan is doing without the 3.5L engine. The D35 is going into the Fusion Sport, a higher-end performance model. Ford doesn't package Milan the same way, they focus on packing the car with more expensive features, trim, wheels, etc... Add a D35 and then you are approaching the MKZ both in price and content. Plus, the MKZ is getting a Sport model.

You know my Mother who owned an MKZ,almost bought the Milan at the end of her lease because she was surprised the Milan had everything she wanted. You don't want to give customers more reasons not to step into the MKZ

There are days that it is completely cloudy and most AutoLamps will not kick on.

The order guide does not have any indication of the 3.7L. I'm sorry I cannot read into the future.

I would much rather see people have a burned out bulb (that warranty will replace) than to be idiots and not use their lights when they should be.

Out of all my recent GM vehicles, I have had -ONE- bulb go out; and that was the driver's side FOG LAMP on my 2000 Grand Prix. All of them have had DRL's too.

Burned out bulbs is not the only problem, but burned out connectors is too as well as shorts in the system that causes you to spend a LOT of money to have replaced. I was there, I know. That constant current and heat was too much it seems and GM did not make any single component any more durable to handle constantly being on, which resulted in many, MANY problems for people. Just google the words DTR and GM together and see how much anger and frustration exists in blog after blog.

Not unlike your calling people "idiots" for not having DTR.

Oh, and autolamps work just fine for 99.9999999999% of the people.
That's what I prefer now, for sure.

Like I said, I don't care what problems they cause; its a matter of safety. I used to think DRL were stupid and pointless, but after commuting; no way. They are needed.

I said SOME drivers are idiots about not using their lights unless it is pitch black out. I think you and I had a discussion about generalizing.....

Autolamps are nice; I've commuted with the MKX a few times. I do like how they come on when the wipers are used regardless of the conditions. However they don't come on every time I would turn the lights on myself. Plus you can't ever tell when they come on.

Nobody said that DTR are not useful.
But when they get older, which they all do, then the problems happen.

Way to miss the main point. Again.

I think we had discussions about that too

Oh, and what is GM's excuse for missing something so basic as flash to pass lights.

    Check it out,

Did you even read my post? What little prolems they may cause are a moot point to me. My family has had countless GM products with them and I only recall two urned out lights; one eing that fog lamp on my Grand Prix.

You ringing up that CTS thing is exactly why you have prolems on this site. Here we have a discussion about DRL's and you have to turn it into a Ford vs. GM pissing match.

Blank disk...calm down...he owns a Focus as well. And besides Ford could bring this over anytime they wanted. What would you do then?
