Just joined hoping to find some info on the Quadrasteer issues, parts and expertise. (Unfortunately, even dealers service departments don't know much, re., the system.). Bought my '02 Chevy Silverado new and it now has only 125K. And I can't tell you how much I love(d) the Quadrasteer system. (In fact, my son, who was a young tyke when I bought it, keeps begging me to pass it down I just can't bring myself to parting with it.) Never, ever a problem until about 1 month ago. If anyone in this forum can direct me to expertise, parts and discussions, I would very much appreciate your assistance. Dave H (in FL)
One of my neighbors has an '04 Sierra Denali with Quadrasteer, its been sitting in his driveway collecting pine needles because of a problem with the rear axle. GM doesn't make parts for these trucks anymore, so you'll have to go aftermarket and even then your options are limited.
I too am new. I am looking for quadrasteer parts and info.
Where can I find the rear actuator for sale? Preferably new.*
Is the actuator*something that can be disasembled, fixed and reasembled?
Are there any Quadra steer parts that can't be found at all? I know there hard to find but is there some that don't exist? What parts are the hardest to find? GM is no help at any of there Denver dealerships parts departments at finding the actuator.
I am looking at buying a quadrasteer truck, but want to make sure there are replacement parts available.
