Might not be too bad if it were still wet/soft, but what about the other 98 times out of a 100 when it's dried?

It's good to have standards. If you like them. I've grown to prefer automatics, though.

That was the part that got flooded when the truck wouldn't turn off or turn back on. They didn't say anything about there possibly being a leak, but I know I wasn't standing next to it with a hose pointed at it. That's why I took it back a week after they replaced the RFHM.

Why do you say that? The refreshed 2013 Traverse received mostly favorable reviews. Pretty **** thing to say actually. But not surprising, coming from you.

How about a 10 week update? I have about 10,200 miles on it now. The truck pulled down its best FE a week ago at 18.75 MPG. And for those on the forum who fear that the transmission is ready to throw up, it isn't yet. And I do love me some full throttle acceleration.

    City? Highway? Mixed?

What’s up with the trans. comment? Didn’t know there were any major issues with the 8A.

Any major likes / dislikes at this point?

I've heard nothing negative about the ZF that FCA uses in their vehicles. In fact I consider it a strong point on my Charger.

The only people who say anything about the RAM having transmission problems are people who still live in 2003.

Both of you must have missed the dissension in the thread a few weeks ago about why the ZF 8A is being used in damn near everything. Many fanboys still equate current FCA products as future junk because of Chrysler's track record of 4 speed autos from the last 30 years.

Most of my driving is deemed city. I do get on a highway occasionally, but not often enough to sway the FE very much. The only major dislikes from my point of view are actually from Mopar accessories. I'm one of many who wants to get the Ram Airflow intake for the Hemi & I also would like to get the suspension lowering kit & hood shown on their Low Down concept truck. The intake has no defined release date, while the suspension & hood haven't even been approved for production.

Otherwise, I'm still spoiled by the Keyless Go ignition. That feature is sweet.

Yeah I saw it but I always dismiss negative talk about that because I know GM and Ford fanboy's are the absolute worst. The ZF is used in many different kinds of vehicles and it definitely is better than the last few years of GM's transmissions which are always geared for fuel economy but they suck when it comes to putting the power down. I know the new 10 speed is a definite improvement over the 8 speed they were using but time will tell if they have issues with it like they did on the 8 speed.

I have to say the Mopar accessories catalog is vast and impressive for the Charger. I plan on getting the fog light kit and the Scat Pack suspension kit with Bilstein dampers and lowering springs. My plan in the future includes me getting a Scat Pack but I'm about 3-4 years out before I make that move.
