update on my RB25det powered Holden

installed a calais nose a few months ago, and only wired it up today.
Had a mate do it for me, and it was a piece of cake.

Anyway, I'm making this thread because I've always had people say to me 'ive never seen a calais with the lights popped up'
Does anyone else have a fair few people say this to them? Maybe its my location.
So I made a pop up demonstration video. Pretty simple.

    And heres some pics.
And YA, I know the nose colour isnt matched exactly

Single-turbo Skyline engine... found in trims just beneath the GT-R Skylines.

    It's a Nissan engine from a Skyline

    RB - engine family
    26 - displacement 2.6L
    D - dual overhead cam
    E - electronic fuel injection
    T - turbo

Way to go on the install man, it looks great! How does she drive?

I knew about this engine, but I haven't until now seen a car on a forum with one of these. Is there somewhere I can see some more engine pictures? Have you modified the turbo? It looks like you have quite a shiny pipe in your engine bay.

Engine and turbo is all stock, for now. And has been for the last 3 years.
This car is a very slow process.

Intercooler is about the only 'engine mod' I have.

Should be close to 300hp I believe. Not too bad for a 1300kg car.

I do have an older thread somewhere on this forum, but the site that hosts my pictures has been down for a while.

The RB series motor made by nissan was quite good, straight 6, came in rb20,25,26 and 30 (in the holden).

The rb25det can make 340hp atw or a bit more on stock internals

Wow, I didn't know that some Holden Commodores came with RB engines, that's kinda cool.
