    Red, White and Blue

OK, nothing to do with the American or Australian flags, just the colours of my cars.

I finally got the panel damage fixed on my wagon, so I polished them up and took some quick shots.

I know I have already probably posted more photos of my cars than I should, but for your info:
Red - My 2003 VY Holden Berlina wagon. 3.6 V6 running dual fuel (unleaded/LPG).
White - My 1979 Mazda Rx-7 coupe. 13B rotary and sucks more fuel than the Holdens put together (but more fun...)
Blue - My wife's 2002 VY Holden Berlina sedan. 3.6 V6 running dual fuel (unleaded/LPG).

And also a couple of shots from our recent post Christmas holiday to Bright - the wagon towing the new trailer packed to the gunwales.

Thanks - it shows just how much smaller the RX-7 is than the Commodores.

So you car can run on regular gasoline and LPG? Cool, wonder why we don't have it in the USA.

Yep. LPG varies between 1/3 and 1/2 the price of unleaded, and uses 10 - 20% more fuel, so it is much cheaper and cleaner as well.

The red diamond on the licence plate indicates that the car runs LPG to assist emergency personnel in an accident.

Tank in the wagon replaces the spare tyre

In the sedan behind the seat (only tank photo after wife got rear ended

Condensor to the right of the engine

Filler fits behind the existing filler flap

All the Taxis in Okinawa run on LPG and it seems to work wondering on keeping the Naha air cleaner. I think most Toyota crown Taxi cabs come equipped with same things since they have the same looking tank in their trunk. In Holland the Chevy Spark has the same thing also.

So the fire and ambulance officers know there is a gas tank under pressure in the vehicle - if a car with an LPG tank is in an accident, they are more careful especially if there is any fire involved.

Hybrids have a green diamond for the same reason - to indicate that there are battery packs in the car.

Nice pics. So do you save a lot running the Commys on LPG?

I get around 400km (250 miles) for between $25 - $30 depending on the price. Petrol would cost around $60 for the same distance.

Apparently our garage is supposed to look something like this: Commodore Sportwagon, Audi TT (old one), Ford Territory Turbo. I would obviously have to go for the SS otherwise I'd be the slowest of the bunch!

Thanks. I love my car again, now that the front panel is fixed. Was not so impressed when my son dropped his bike next to it on holidays and put a big scratch above the rear wheel...

The Mazda is about to get a bit of a workout - this Saturday a Test & Tune day for Khanacross and then a cruise with ausrotary.com from Frankston to Sorrento, then back via Cape Schank and Hastings the following weekend.

My wife would prefer an A3 convertible. No room for a truck (even if there was I would find an excuse anyway) so the Territory would be a non-starter...
