It is good they offer the light blue but I for one do not like it, even in person. Also my wife and daughter don't like it either. One color that is missing is from the green catergory. Our choices would be black/red/silver in that order.

One thing interesting on the side impacts is that the cruze only has one metal crash beam(tube) where as the cobalt had two on the 4dr and three on the 2dr coupe.

You might have sent one of the first too the wrecking yard!
Do you get a first place trophy?

I wanted to like the ice blue, but it was a bit too powder blue for my tastes. I opted for the Imperial blue and very happy with it.

I would have preferred a WELL DONE green one any day over any other color. Green seems to be a hard color to get right... I am sure we all know the snot green cars out there...

Something more along the lines for the hunter green that 99' Grand AM's had. The synergy green of the Camaro would be nice too. Might look a bit odd on a Cruze, but you would not have to worry about blending in with the rest of the toasters on the road.

I was always a fan of the blue green they used on the original Saturns. That was a sharp looking color. In general though, the color selections of cars lately has been a bit stale IMO. I think that is why I like the light blue...its not something everyday like black silver red...although...the reality of it is, any discussion on color is purely subjective to personal likes

The last gen. Impala could pull off green very well.

First off Zete; nothing like having your family come off from such an accident without a Scratch. Thanks be to the great Deity, and off course a good head in buying a compact with great safety ratings and 10 airbags.

Now, can you post interior pictures? Why no fogs?

I think fogs come standard on 2012 LTZ's. 2011's require the RS package, IIRC.

Liking the ice blue. I've seen it once on the road, I think and it caught my eye.

On greens, I liked the one they called Emerald Green in '73.

If I ever actually get a Solstice, I want it to be the Envy color.

Exactly. The car was replaced, I'd not have been able to do so with my daughter and wife.

Whenever it sits on the driveway long enough I'll post interior shots.

and as Envoy4Life states, for the 2011s fog lights are only on the RS.

I am so glad your family came out of the collision OK.
Some people are not convinced about curtain bags.

Amen to that. Safety first. Whoever figures airbags and other technology is a waste of weight are idiots. They're probably vying for a Darwin Award whenever they get behind the wheel of their cars.

That photo doesn't do that color justice what so ever. God help the panel beater if you ever have to match the paint
