    New Car! [56K Warning]

I was originally planning on getting a Mazda3 to run around with, but the financing options were horrible, even with A+ credit scores. A nicely optioned hatch would have cost just a few bucks less a month that the G6 Convertible, so I guess we are staying in the GM family! This is mostly the fiance's car so I guess I have to deal with the Malibu for two more years, I'll be driving the G6 most of the time anyway. When the Malibu is up, I plan on getting an SUV (I'm thinking Acadia). Anyway, enjoy the pics!!

    Congrats!

But I thought it was required that all mods get a G8?

Haha, this is the future-wifey's car. I tried talking her into a G8, but she really wanted a convertible, and she wanted a four-person car. So really it was between the sebring, this and a mustang...umm DUH! Haha. Perhaps I will pick up a nice used GXP when the Malibu's lease is all done.

Congrats on a cool car Tahoe! The G6 is one of the only convertibles that looks as good top up as it does top down. I still think the G6 is one of the, if not the, most attractive midsize cars on the market.

Congrats, I think these G6 convertibles will hold their value very well in the years to come.

One thing I've noticed with this model and the Altima coupe... depending on the angle, you can likely drive in reverse and it still looks like it's facing forward.

Nice ride... thanks for sharing the shots!

BTW, is that a private residence in the background with the water slide? If so, who's in for a GMI crashing party!

It is a private residence. Feel free to come by an crash if you anywhere near Waxhaw, NC.

I don't know where you're coming up with that figure. The Convertible has only been around for 3 years. Sure the interior is pretty basic, and it has an OHV with a 4 Speed, but I tell ya what. The 3.5 is pretty damn powerful, and the four speed right now gives the car better mileage than the 6-speed in our 'bu. It is a little outdated, but it's worlds better than the Sebring, that's for sure. The rebates on it are well worth the "outdated"-ness. You sure do know how to rain on somebody's parade.

    That's what I am hoping.

Haha, no it's hers. I don't really mind driving it though. It's not like it's a Beetle.

I think it's a little bit of both to be honest.
