    My Saturn

    http://public.fotki.com/Stacy82/2002...icture615.html

Wanted to get a second car to commute to school which is 300 miles a week. The G6 GTP is not the greatest on gas mileage. Yep, I still have my G6 though. I'm going to be using my 2002 Saturn for my commuter car and aka winter beater while the G6 is parked for winter months

I love my SL2 because it's a great communter car, and pretty easy on gas. I can't beleive my baby is nearly 10yrs. old but still looks so good.

They are great cars, my SL was great on gas, I had to drive it pretty hard to get under 30 MPG.
No longer have the Cavalier, now it's a Cobalt!

Cool, that is a weird looking beast (to my bland loving Australian eyes any way). So for the uninitiated, is this a close relative of the sunfire? What power train does it run? Does it have IRS?

Well I'll admit the S-Series cars were not for everybody. They were built on a totally separate platform than the Sunfire/Cavalier and was powered by a totally different engine. Instead of the 2.1 or 2.2L engine as in the the Sunfire/Cav. the S-Series cars were powered by a 1.9L SOHC or DOHC good for 109 or 124HP. The engine note is largely different albeit a lil' thrashy. No I doesn't have IRS come on this is a GM compact from the 90's I'm surprise it came with power steering.

Sorry to here that Stacy. Is it like that commercial for insurance- where he hits the dash and the whole car falls apart??
