Well, she certainly looks good, what about some pics under the pretty skin? What engine/mods have you done to it?
Two-Tones on Caprices just don't do it for me, but props. Have you thought about getting the extended lower control arms to move the rear axle into the center of the wheel opening? That thing needs about 4 inches of drop STAT! Later on you should get it bagged by Ekstensive on 20"/22"s. It would be the best looking B-Body on Blades.
Fugly. Never liked those cars.. but hey!!! Whatever floats your boat!!!
and I mean boat in the literal sense here.. that thing is a boat.. No wonder they were killed due to lack of market
its pure stock under hood,so didnt think to take pics.. and it has the same the LT1 as the SS.. before i put the 22" wheels.. it was crazy fast..but since the wheels.. it has a slower launch (no more burnouts) ,but still quick after that. only additions i might make is upgrading rear brakes from drums to discs (yeah, caprice had rear drums instead of discs SS got).
i'm going to try to focus on making improvements to my 1968 impala, upholster trunk, add amp/subs.. airbags maybe hydraulics.. with all that on my plate, i probably wont get around to updating the caprice interior to SS interior for awhille..but that definately something i'll be having on my mind in the future.
Whatever dude. They OWNED the Police market and were just getting the B-Body right when they pulled the plug to make more damn SUVs.Originally Posted by mbukukanyau

naw.. this is just my daily car.. its my 68 impala that i'm going to go all out on. rims and paint on this 96 was just cause i need little bit of style in my daily car.Originally Posted by AndrewGS

as for wheels.. i get that alot.. must be texas thing..cause they legendary and well respected here. maybe texas only state that has good taste.
Dude, no. . I love the Impala and B-Body and probably will end up buying one but I don't like how this one looks. Like you said though, it could be a Texas thing. But if you like it, that's the important part .
1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
not going to change suspension on my 96, unless i do a slight drop with springs..Originally Posted by boston boy
after debating between air and hydraulics, i've decided to go with airbags for my 1968. that should be done by the summer.
reason i want to bag my 68, is because when i bought the car and previous owner had put lowering springs.. with those small 14" wheels, i have minumum ground clearance.. i scrap my front cross member and exaust ALOT.. lol also, a lowrider aint complete until it has some kinda switch to raise/lower it.
i want my '68 sitting on its frame when lowered..simliar to this '67
heres where my 68 sits now

i love the 68...looks awesome, not too keen on the 96 though "I think its the style rims on it that veers me away" but props for doing something differant!
