    My 91 Firebird (Image Heavy-ish)

Well, borrowing my GF's camera, i decided to update some pictures of the 'bird. (Yes, it's running again...)
It's kinda cloudy out, so i'll probably replace them as soon as i get some sun here in Iowa.
Anywhoo, here's my pride and joy!

That's in great shape for being of that era. You need to get that ding out of the left rear wheel arch.

The 91 - 92 Trans Am was my favorite looks wise. I really liked the rocker panel/rear valance wrap-around and the hidden exhaust.

Looks good, what did you do to get it running? You need to get some nice chrome tips on it.

Looks awesome. I've always liked those third-gen Firebirds and Camaro's. Grey interior with T-Tops is a great combination.

Nice car. Looks like a fun ride.
Photos are nice. Cloudy days are actually better than full sun, since the shadows are not as dark, and the contrast is lower. All you need to do is open the exposure one or two stops, to lighten the picture.

Congrats on having such a nice car.

You know, I really didn't have to do much at all...all i did was get the timing spot on and the warm weather did the rest. I have no clue why that car refuses to run during winter. During it's first days running again it was really rough, but now it's better...i think it was fuel related.

Anywhoo, i do want to get some tips for it, and there's some nice cheap ones that look good at wal-mart, but i need a new muffler and whatnot, it would be kinda pointless to put nice tips on a shi* muffler.

But yeah, she's my baby...i was gonna have my GF pose, but she refused. =)
I still have lots left to do on it, and i dont think the 'bird will leave my sight any time soon.

Id steer clear from the cheap "walmart special" tips. Only go with stainless er your gonna regret it in 4 months er so when the "chrome" cheap ones start peeling and getting rusty. I learned from experience myself. Go with some nice 304 polished stainless..might cost more, but some polished stainless tips will last the life of the car. That 3rd looks waaay too clean to clutter up with some rusty tips, know what I mean?

But yea, aside from that, the bird looks beautiful! I love the 3rd gen fbodies. Just by looking, Im assuming its got the 305 in it?

And give the girlfriend the ole' "Im just going to keep the pictures for myself" line, and then post'em here ASAP haha

You like it because you like it! No need to qualify or explain it! Great car man... I still love that model of 'Bird. Your fourth picture is awesome!

Thanks for the heads up...you think they have any better tips at Advanced Auto or something?

But yeah, i'm srry to say it only has the 3.1 in it, I have to wait for my uncle to find a decent engine one of these days untill i can swap for something bigger.

Plus, body work is one of the next things that i want to do. Paint and everything. (I wonder how that 50$ paint job would look in a sharp red?)
