Thanks for the compliments! I bought it last year with 54k miles for $10,700. That included HG and Timesert repair, new CV joints, motor mount, complete reseal of engine, and couple of other little bits.
You can buy the exact same car now (it's got 78k miles) for about $6,000. The market for these cars has completely fallen out. They are great buys for somebody looking for an affordable luxury car.
Nice ride! I was never a fan of this generation of Cadillacs, but i have to say your car looks great in these photos. The fifth photo is my favorite.

Nice STS. My mom had a 97 STS.......which never gave us any problems.
The secret to those Northstar's was to drive it like you stole it. People who babied the car had all sorts of issues.
Needless to say my mom drove the car easy but when i had the chance to take it for a spin i really opened her up.....man i miss that car.
