    Looks great, Cort!

Still love your '87 and those aluminum wheels.

My Mom's '79 two-tone blue Impala which had been lying dormant since 1994 in the machine shed on our farm has been resurrected! She had been storing stuff inside it (and on top) for years and I thought it would never turn a wheel under it's own power again, but the guy putting a roof on her house spotted it and needed a car for his high school age daughter to drive.

He paid her $200 and dragged it back home. I guess all he did was put in a new battery, change the fluids and add fresh gas and it fired up! Not really even any leaks! Since then he's put on a new set of proper whitewall tires, sanded down and repainted some of the surface rust, and scrubbed the mold out of the interior. It looks great (sorry, no pics handy), especially the interior, and his daughter has a sweet retro ride to drive to school. He said he has more into the new set of tires than the rest of the car.

That's awesome that that Impala is back on the road. Amazing what just a little care will do, eh? Hope his HS daughter drives it carefully ... and doesn't tear it up.

Too bad you don't have any pics of it, too....
