It's a storage facility that seems to attract all manners of esoteric collector cars.

Very nice. How often does it actually get on the road? Is there a daily driver or is the rest done via public transportation?

At least monthly; except once the salt is put on the roads, then it stays in there until the first major rainstorm after the snowy season. I use public transportation and my '96 Fleetwood for getting around.

It's not huge, but it has about 30 or so cars. I pay north of $200. It's secure, it's well looked after, it's kept charged, and it's kept in a constant temperature/humidity range. So, I think it's worth it.

$200 per month is a mere pittance for such a fine automobile.

I'd like you prod the the owner of that fantastic Oldsmobile "Woody" for some photos!

And what's with the chequerboard paint scheme on that elevated sedan?

$200 a month? Wow. I had a spotlessly clean 15 x 30 all to myself for a little over a hundred. And I felt like I was being raped. Of course, it wasn't temperature controlled. I suppose if I could work on it too I wouldn't mind so much. But it would sure be short term.

For the location, the $200+ doesn't seem bad. Friends park in Frederick without temp control and pay north of $150. I think theirs is 12x24 and private/locked.

I think it's an Oldsmobile Aurora Pace Car.

I don't know who owns the woody, but it's been there for as long as my car has (and my car was, I think, only the second or third occupant in the facility.

It's awesome, though. Just awesome. It's not driven much, if ever. I have other photos of it, I think, but I'm not really supposed to publish photos of the contents of this place publically. I figured, this photo was dark enough that little detail of the surrounding contents could be discerned.

I don't know why I didn't pick up on this before, but...

    ...you have a '58 Belvedere hardtop coupe...AND a '96 Fleetwood daily driver??

You, sir, score major cool points.
    Peace,
