    Last South African 1965 Malibu

    Good evening everybody,
    I am the proud owner of a 1965 Malibu that was built whilst I was working at GMSA in their Product Engineering section as a Specifications Clerk.
    42 years later I found the car standing under some trees on a pile of rocks. Recognised the car and re-built it. Runs like a dream and is NOT FOR SALE!
    I have its full history from first owner to present with all the original Licence papers and an original 1965 GM Canada Chassis Shop Manual from Oshawa Ontario. Full pictorial detail of its restoration process can be seen on Moby302's website. Noticed several references to the site.

    I recall noticing some discussions around that period and my Malibu and will enlighten you around that period if you wish

    I live just south of Johannesburg.
    To Chinamonty;
    Restoration is still ongoing, has taken me 18 months up to now as she is.
    Go to http//:www.moby302.co.za and see the resto from then to now.

    Luckily the spammer bumped this thread. That is a great looking car Johann65. Welcome to GMI. So how many classics does this make it?
