    Its been a while...

Bought a 2019 Silverado this afternoon, pics will follow soon.

It’s a Crew Cab Z71 LTZ in Havana Brown. Options are Safety Package 1, Bose, 20s, all that jazz.

    Traded the 2016 for it.

Had the first problem on the way home. The Blind Zone Alert on the passenger side won’t pick up anything smaller than a semi. Hope that’s not a sign of things to come.

I was beginning to think you fell of the planet The new truck sounds nice I like the color choice too, probably just an adjustment is needed in the alert system.

I’ll look at the paperwork (which is actually a USB) later and give specifics. I believe the dealer gave $7,000, plus $1,500 package bonus cash from GM. I passed on GMF and their crummy rate, so I lost $1,500 there. I also could have gotten another $2,000 if I had a current lease with GMF, Ally or U.S. Bank.

The trade was either $31 or $32K.

I’ll post pics later this afternoon/evening. I’m fixing to go out and take some now that the rain has stopped.

Kool-beans! What was the mileage/condition of your 2016 LTZ that you traded; parting evaluation, perhaps?

When I bought my 2018 Sierra I got $2,000 for the Cruze Lease and $1,000 from GMF; they actually gave me a decent rate (4.95% I believe) but I paid it off after ~3 months anyway.

Well if you would have come on here you would have had to buy a Ram because according to GMI the Silverado is trash and no one but the biggest fanboy would buy one.

Congratulations on the sweet truck in my minority opinion.

Oh cry me a river. The higher optioned trucks are pretty freaking nice. It's when a buyer is looking for a value where GM screws you.

    Havana Brown is beautiful.

I thought I was petty but you've taken the crown. Boo hoo.

Anyway congrats on the new truck Chris. Looking forward to seeing pictures and your personal review here soon.

    Thanks guys!

Couldn’t get any real good pictures because of the weather, these will have to do for now. I’ll get her shined up and take some good ones later in the week. It’s going to get a full paint correction and Ceramic Pro next month anyway.

I've switched to imgur, after the bs photo bucket policy.

It only had 25,000 +/- and was as close to perfect both cosmetically and mechanically as you’re realistically going to get. I only drove the thing about once a week as I started driving my Metris work van during the week.

I only put 6,000 on my King Ranch in the year I had it.

The interior in the Ram is top notch, too bad I didn’t like the rest of it. I couldn’t fault anybody for buying one though. I can absolutely see why their sales are so strong right now.
