    Katrina, paul?

    Are you nuts?

    Why not Adolf? Or Torquemada?

    Hey... wait a minute! Torquemada?

    Nah, won't work.

There are too many old, fat Cajun grandmas with moustaches named Pauline...

Nice name, but not the image I'm looking for.

I don't know why I thought of this, but you should name it Sally

I thought of Sally... it's a tad too "cute" though. I can't help but think of Charlie Brown's little sister!

When I see the car, I see a fusion of... Babe Didrikson Zaharias, Emma Thompson or Anjelica Huston, and Salma Hayek. Agility, grace, and beauty, all rolled into one.

I need one name that embodies all three of these qualities!

French names are iffy. See, here in New Orleans, french given names were commonplace until WWII. After that, they disappeared. So most french names we tend to associate with hairy-legged old grannies, or my Mom's sisters — Augusta ("Aunt Gus"), Mercedene, Aglia ("Aunt Guy"), Elodie, and Zoula).

T-Rex, you are in luck. I'm uniquely qualified because I used to diddle a british girl who, oddly enough, looked a bit like an Asian chick.

Since your wife's new Jag walks, talks, and acts British but looks like a Lexus, I think you should go with Emmy (or Emma)

Either way, it's difficult to find a uniquely british name. Many are similar to American names.

I call my truck Betsy, but I am thinking of changing her name to Becky.

Nope, it's got two. It's not an Acronym or anything. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmy_Award

My friend used to call his Ford Contour Bessie. I call my K-car "The K" and my Silver 2002 SC1 was "Silver Bullitt." My Silverado is "Black Betty" and that's because the Ram Jam song helped me decide to buy it. I happened to hear it on the radio not long after I left the dealership.

I took the current job I have now based mostly on the fact that Eddie Grant's Electric Avenue was on the radio while I was sitting in the meeting room waiting for the interview to start. I love that song!

    Ooooh Felicity!

(I think somebody mentioned it in an earlier post...)

    Me likey!

And of course I just adore the lovely miss Felicity Kendal, who now that I think about it, reminds me very much of my missus! Kinda looks like her a little bit too!

From the second-best Britcom ever made...
