    Goodbye VXII

Finally got off my @$$ and advertised our third wheel, just before christmas.
Only got 2 calls before Christmas but come 2007 and everyones ready to buy!

The first to look at it bought it and argued me down a whole $300

Still a bargain. I will miss its keen take off anf effortless b and c road blasting, but not the nose down body roll

2002 VX II Commodore Executive Sedan. 3800 Ecotoec w/4 speed auto. Only non standard items were the cop wheels (225 instead of 205) and tint. We dd have some 235/45 R17s but they are now on our wagon.
This was a great car for us but it's finally moving on. See ya!

I think the Opel Omega was the basis for both the Catera and the VT Commodore (1997-200). The Commodore was much removed from the Omega, mainly in dimensions and tuning.

I love how in Australia they called the 3800 V6 an ECOTEC. Your car was really nice, but was the BMW like grille standard or is that an accessory? I do like these cars though, too bad we never got them out here, except for the GTO, which Canada never got anyway Frankly the GTO should've been marketed as a Grand Prix coupe with the 3.8 and 5.7, but anyway the past is the past.

Yah, in Australia they called the 3800 an ECOTEC V6 alongside the obvious ECOTEC L4's. They also call the High Feature V6 the Alloytec V6.

The Commodore had the split grill from the VS-VX II(93-02) .

Oddly enough, I don't like the styling of the Commodore until the VT Commodore came out. Also, can someone explain like VT and VE and VS, like where do they come up with these different code names for them?
