    Ghetto Mode

A few weeks ago I posted some pics of my new Regal GS... all nice and detailed, chrome wheels shining...

Well, its winter now, so its time to buckle down and give up all hopes of my car looking nice until next spring...

Here it is after one day of snow fall... covered in dirt, salt, oil (from my rustproofing), sitting on my ghetto ass non-matching 15inch steel rims/snowtires.

I'm thinking he removed them to put them back on in the spring. No sense in getting them pitted & salted in the winter.

Or they were stolen, like check out the building in the background

Ya... Up here most people keep 2 sets of rims... stock alloys with summer tires or all seasons for spring/summer/fall, and some cheap steelies with winter tires for... well, winter.

I went through last winter on all seasons and they just werent up to the job... Did 1100 worth of damage to the front bumper of our Corolla, and that convinced me that a few hundred bucks on winter tires might be a good idea this year.

Yeah I miss that whole generation of the W car platform. From 1997 - 2003 they were some of the best W platform cars ever made. IMHO!

THAT SUCKS hope you're all right
I been using the bridgestone blizzak ws-50 winter tire for years. Those tires are the the best snow tires EVER and to prevent a accident and drive with assurance is priceless...
    PS:This is on a 1992 beretta too...
