I'll post some pictures of the military grade awesomeness tomorrow.

Just to wet your appetites, it's a white platinum with black interior, Lariat Chrome Package, FX4, 20s, 5.0L V8, power tailgate, spotlight mirrors, panoramic roof, pro trailer backup, heated rear seats, nav, ya da yada.

The only things it doesn't have are the 360 camera and adaptive cruise.

I also sold my Super Duty, so I'm down to one personal vehicle now.
Chris, great looking truck, you do know if you drop your toolbox at just the right angle from just the right height with just the right weight into your bed without a bed liner, well you know the outcome. Let us know if your Ford has any vibrations, hard tranny shifts or ****ty throttle response, you know the normal stuff!

    LOL!

I took it through the car wash the other day and it didn't rip itself apart... I was on pins and needles the whole time.

Trans is nice and smooth so far and no vibrations to report either.

Also, figured I'd add; going to look at ATS Coupes today, because I'm crazy and miss having two vehicles already :dizzy:

Try putting a 3rd into your garage. I added one a couple of weeks ago. Not an F150, mind you.

And congrats on the new truck. Many of us are envious.

    Cool.
Do people even drive manuals anymore?
Or do you just have to have a special certification for your license?
It is impossible to even fathom how people can press three pedals and shift at the same time.

Might be bringing home a new Platinum, for a lower monthly payment to boot.

    Re: Denali is gone...

After getting my 14' EB back from Ford (it needed new timing chains) I poked around the lot....found a beauty black platinum with the 5.0 (no more ecoboost for this cowboy) Ford is very aggressive with pricing, the lease for a comparable GM (Denali or High Country) is ~300$ more and at least 4000 more in cash purchase. I'm just so on the fence, a big part of me wants the new F150 front end and 10 speed, another part want to wait to see what GM does with the 2019 trucks. Boy oh boy, that platinum I drove was an awful nice truck, I most certainly would be happy to live with it.

The 14 is going to go back home to Idaho where i'll take advantage of the US greenback on resale (I now reside north of the boarder) I'll make up me mind this week....

Just don't take it through the car worsh next to a Chibby! You'll end up with holes and huge dents in your bed, and all sort of other Gawdduhh-Awful stuff happening. To quote Landslide Lyndon Johnson, "Turrible! Turrible!"

The one plus is you won't have a bunch of easily-impressed ageing teenagers tagging along, soaking wet, in the bed. They'll all be in the Chibby, going "Oh wow!" like good 60s hippies, and "Oh, Chibby, mon, yeah!" which would get very old very fast.

Plati is a no-go. When they found out I didn't want to finance with Ford Credit, $3,000 in rebates dried up real fast (I was expecting $500-$1000 at most) and they wanted to lowball the ***** out of my trade ($35,000).

I'm not a huge fan of the Platinum exterior (especially the tailgate appliqué), but damn that interior is nice.

    Glad I can help?!?

I'm looking at a couple 502A's (which is what I should have gotten from the start), one with the 2.7L EB and two with the V8, one that I believe is basically identical to yours (Magnetic, 157" wheelbase, FX4) and one that is Bronze Fire. I've already got pre-approval from my credit union, just a matter of getting one of these dealers to accept my offer and shopping my old truck around for the best price I can get.

Moral of the story, don't settle just because you believe something is a good deal. That's basically what I did when I went with the 501A.

This truck was a little over $14,000 off with the Ford Credit rebate and a little over $11,000 off without. If they hadn't lowballed my trade, I would have tried to still make it happen; but they refused to budge.

    It was a '16 leftover 2WD V8.
