It's a little toy lion that came with some candy I bought the other day. He's my copilot for now.

    How's the 5.0/6A compared to the 6.2L/8A?

Where is the sticker price and how much was knocked off? All the options like the pro trailer back-up thingy will add up fast. I could never understand why you would trade a big wheel for a small one.

6.2L would walk it pretty easy. That's to be expected, it has 40 less horsepower. This thing will however stomp a mud hole in a 5.3's face.

Sticker was $56,xxx. After all was said and done, I got about $10K off sticker.

I looked at another Denali with the 6.2, but they felt it was so special that I should have been happy with $3k off sticker.

Remember, time marches on and yep, the wheels go 'round and 'round.

Also it would be a pretty bleak place if there wasn't room for all the third, fourth, and fifth best finishers and etc.

    Yep. "1 at a time since 1999"

A new GM slogan. Losing Customer Base/Market Share.

It is interesting though. A customer going from a Top Offering from 1 Manufacture, to a High Middle offering from another Manufacture.

Here is a good side by side comparison between the 2016 F150 5.0 and the Chevy 5.3 and the results I agree with. It shows the good/bad of both trucks and has a good amount of common sense too. It has good explanations of the differences and the reasoning behind them.

Si senor. We looked for a 2016, but there weren't any within 500 miles.

That's what happens when one manufacturer offers more equipment in their upper middle trim than the other does on their top offering.

I've made it known on this forum, I think the GMC is the best looking pickup on the road, but that isn't worth $7,000 to me. I'll miss the 6.2L, but I think 380 horses will do me just fine since I don't drag race my trucks. I'll also add, the 5.0L in this thing sounds FANTASTIC. That was always a complaint of mine with the GM trucks, the factory exhaust is way too quiet.

If that has a power steering column, I did the CAD design and work on it. If it's a manual, I did a little bit know the team that did. Was all engineered in Saginaw, Mi.

Love the truck. The new F-150 is a seriously nice machine and I think the interior is a nicer place to spend time than the GM twins.

    Congrats!
