    Brother's new SRX

Yesterday my brother and his wife took delievery of a new 2006 SRX V6, so I thought I'd share the car with you guys on GMI.

Well as stated earlier is has the V6, the special white paint (which costs $1000 =[...at least it looks nice, DVD enterainment system, power third row seat (which absolutely sucks, no one can't sit there), wood trim, heated frotn seats, and the bose speaker system. It's a pretty nice vehicle, which they got a good deal on, 0% financing and $1000 of bonus cash, this is why they didn't want to wait for the revised 2007 interior. Oh well.

I'll make a new sig. Later.

Beautiful vehicle, my dad just purchased an '06 V-6 SRX about a month ago, its red though and no DVD but other than that its awesome. the V-6 is the way to go, very responsive and refined and plenty of power to get you going. Hes got the ulta-view sunroof or whatever its called but its sweet as hell

btw does anyone know what the little square on the front and back bumpers is for??

Would it be accurate to call the SRX a CTS wagon, pretty much?

At this point yes. But hopefully there will be some differentiation soon.

Access panels for the screw-in tow ring.

I'm curious why though? I don't see why offering a CTS wagon would be a bad thing. Most BMW, Mercedes and Audi models have a wagon variant, and they don't rename them or otherwise try to hide their connection.

It's a pity American tastes in cars leave the hatchback and wagon out to dry.

is it just me, or does in the second picture, the lower front bumper seem misalligned?

either way, its a sweet car, and awesome color too, the SRX looks rather classy in white .

What a sweet SUV. I've always liked the SRX and it competes well with the X5 and other SUV's which is something that GM isn't always able to accomplish. Now all we need is an SRX-V and we're set to go.

An SRX in V8 guise can tow up to 4,250lbs. No car "wagon" can come close to that number. Audi's especially.

The Dodge Magnum wagon V8 can be specially outfitted to tow up to 3,850 lbs.

Most other wagons are 1,500 lbs (if that!).

You mean with the fender, next to the driver side front wheel? Well, when I was posting these pictures I was wondering that too.
