Ah now that's cool! I don't like new Toyota's, but that's a very fun car. You never see them anymore in any shape, and it seems that that one's actually half decent. Should be a ball with a stick and RWD... I don't imagine it's all that heavy (back in '86 safety was years away!), so you're going to enjoy it. Congrats!

I think maybe we'll start a 20-year moratorium on import bashing... anything more than 20 years old becomes cool again!

This is definitely a good Japanese import, probably one of the best ones that you can get. Nice choice, and you shall have a ball of fun with this little beast.
I'll make a new sig. Later.

Only in California can you buy a car from 1986 that only has a few dents to worry about . Cars from the 80's are very rare sightings in my neck of the woods.

Verfy fun car. Had one myself. I do not consider myself a Toyota man either even though I love my '92 Supra Turbo. I'm acually glad of the fact that my car does not say Toyota anywhere on the car.

You aren't forced to read this thread, to all of those complaining about having to see stuff like this.

If you don't like it, focus on the GM stuff. There are sub-forums for other makes and models, you know.

This is in the General Car Discussion thread. One would think that a thread called "Bought a new car" in the GMI General Car Discussion just might not look like it came from Toyotanation.

Nice catch man. Back in high school, I used to own a 96 Toyota Celica. 5sp manual transmission, red, aftermarket wheels, with no dents whatsoever. Enjoy your new ride.

I have no problems with Supra. Enjoy your ride.

One of my main issues with the Toyota of today is that if you want a vehicle with a hint of sport in it then you must pay for the premium Lexus brand to get it. Sorry I do not buy anything Scion is sporty; just cheap.

Didn't notice that. Assumed it was in a more "specific" sub-forum.

    My apologies, you were corerct.
