    Back in a Silverado

Colorado is gone and I'm back to having two full-size trucks. Picked it up at 6:00 this evening. I'll post pics when it's light out.

Deets: 2016 Crew Cab 1500, 4x4, LTZ, Summit White with Black Interior, 20s, Front and Rear Sensors, LED Headlights/Tails, NAV, Heated/Cooled Buckets, BOSE, Brake Controller.

Only things I missed out on were Sunroof, 8 speed and Spray In Bedliner.

Truck was a demo with 2,000 miles. I'll go into more detail on the deal if anyone wants me to.

    Kewl - Congratulations!

    Missed out on 8-speed; huh?

Yes on the details of the deal, especially since you were trying to get out of that girl-truck.

It was nice for what it was, but I had almost instant buyers remorse.

I'll miss the fuel mileage though.

    Thanks!

My 8A drove way better than either 6A I had. Neither shift as nice as my Ford though.

Sticker on the truck was $53,xxx ($54 addendum). They had it marked down to $41,xxx on Cars.com. I got $31,xxx for the Colorado. I had about $5,000 in negative equity on it. I ended up financing either $51,xxx or $52,xxx after taxes and fees with the 5/75,000 bumper to bumper warranty, GAP and Hendrick maintenance plan added on (yeah, I'm a sucker). I got a 2.9% interest rate through my credit union, GM Financial and Ally wouldn't touch that interest rate (GMF was around 4%, Ally around 5%). Could I have done better? Probably. I'm happy though.

5y/75k Warranty? You going to trade it in next year?

Was going to say if any one person on this website doesn't need to buy into extended warranty's it is ChrisGin who seriously has bought more vehicles in the past 2 years then I have in 40+ years of living! lmao

No joke Chris I was going to seriously make a joke yesterday in a post you contributed to razzing you about when the next new truck was coming and boom! Yup I'm a little jelly grats on the new rig.

That's unfortunate. Only time I've ever sat in a Colorado was at the auto show for 5 seconds in a Z71; so briefly because it was pretty uncomfortable, but I never closed the door so I guess I never knew how tight it was.

I've wanted a truck, but I guess this cures me of my Colorado-itis.

OK, color-me confused, what transmission does this new truck have, a 6-speed?

All things considered I think your (Colorado) exit wasn't too bad.
