    2011 Impala LS

Well from an all Japanese garage I'm now representing team USA with the arrival of my new Red Jewel Impala. It compliments the Trailblazer nicely It's an LS model 3.5L left over from 2011. It's basic (just the way i like cars...less stuff to break) and it rides oh so smooth and comfortable. This is definitely a road trip type car. The only things I've done so far is tint and 3M stone guard on hood and bumper.

Congrats. Love the color. I appreciate your approach to sticking to the basics for long term reliability. Wish I could follow it but I like a few more bells and whistles.

Nice. Bet you got it for a song. Red is not my fave color but that looks like there's some burgundy in there too.

I had a 2003 Impala base 3.4, stickered at 24 and I went out the door for about 16.
I replaced the tires immediately and the struts (KYB) at about 12K.

One thing I liked about the Impalas was most of them had dual zone. None of our cars have it now, but it's a feature I think every vehicle should have standard.

I kept it three years and sold it with about 25K on it IIRC. Best repeatable MPG was over 33, running over 80 in the summer.

Congratulations on your new wheels. Enjoy!!

    Re: 2011 Impala LS

Added a couple more pics. Thanks for the kind comments
White is the car color of choice in my family and my naturally my intentions was to get a white Impala but when I saw this color I changed my mind. Never thought I would have a red car...........even my neighbors are saying they're expected a white car lol. For a plain jane car that you see pretty much everywhere, I'm getting a lot of compliments on the car/color.

I didn't realize the LS model came with alloy wheels, I thought they had steelies with hubcaps.

Nice car ! Just came back from a week in California and put about 800 miles on a '12 Impala. What a nice smooth quiet comfortable crusier it was for a ride across the desert !
