    2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire!

    Hey guys,

it's officially mine! I bought this from my uncle, who purchased a new sled (the same one, just 4 years newer!)

    It's a 2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire Sno Pro 8

    794cc
    Fox Float suspension all around
    135" Camoplast Ripsaw track

    Wash/wax before the season!:

I already bought a jacket and gloves... boots to come soon.

This will fit nicely in the back of my truck

    Let the snow fly!

Looks great, the orange paint is excellent. Hopefully you get enough snow this winter to ride it. The winters here seem to produce less and less snow each year.

It's kept up north right off the shores of lake superior... there's always enough snow I plan on going up to the UP of Michigan as well this year.

    Re: 2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire!

    Hey guys,

I ordered an LED kit from ebay for my sled. I decided to put all of the LED's under my hood in the vents. I ran a wire from a fuse upfront, to a toggleswitch that I mounted next to the key, then grounded it all as well. If you look close enough to the first shot, you can see the LED brackets. I routed the wires through the looms on the hood. and zip tied it all into place and made sure there's enough slack to open the hood.

I also took this chance to ziptie up the coolant hose that lays on the block, which I've read is a possible problem area.

The LED kit was $35 (these LEDS are made by a guy in Minnesota, which is where is business is as well.) and came with a switch that was cheap and small, good thing my uncle had a nice radioshack one laying around. Anyway, they look great! The pictures don't quite do it justice, as the headlights made it almost impossible to take a front on shot, but you can see them....

Time will tell if they are actually quality. He did state they are highly water resistant, but not 100% water proof.

I waxed the hell out of my hood this fall, so snow should fly right off and not get on them

    Comments/Questions?

Woo... awesome, pity it doesn't get that cold here, I had a jet ski for a bit, but thats as close as it comes.

I'd be tempted to just ruin our back lawn if there was one here. Looks like so much fun, be careful and enjoy it!!

Thanks guys, I am SOOOOO looking forward to my first official ride with her! I bought a new jacket, gloves, and boots. (I already have great ice fishing bibs.) And I inherited a nice helmet (that works with my ipod!) Anyway, there will be more pics to come once the snow hits hard. Beware northern Wisconsin...

2 Stroke. Pull start. I love the smell of 2 stroke.....

I actually prefer the pull start, as my arms/shoulders are good, it takes away weight, and less maintenence. I have no heavy battery to maintain, no starter to maintain, no cables to watch. The sled is already heavy enough at 495lb dry weight.

Don't get me wrong, pushing a button and having it start is nice (on other sleds I've ridden.)

    Re: 2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire!

So we got some great snow from the past 2 days. I was the ONLY crazy out lastnight. It was kind of hard to see, but the drifts were amazing! I found a good 7 footer and kinda dumped it, but that's alright.

    Photo's from the night:
