    2006 VE Berlina/V8/LPG - with mods!

Hi, by way of an introduction I thought I would post some details and pics of my pride and joy. Still a work in progress - but it is getting close
The car is already capable of 0-100kph in around 4.7s in full street trim and running on LPG. Will be heading for the track in the next few weeks to get an updated timeslip. Cheers.

The conversion came with a tyre repair kit. (large bottle of slime and a 12V compressor) So far so good (crosses fingers). I've also got a space saver I can throw in if necessary

Nice! I love that you retained the chrome strip over the grille - sets it apart.

There's something wrong with your rego plate though...

Comprehensive list of mods T2000. Have you talked to your tuner about running LPG with the Supercharger? Also, do you run on straight LPG, or a specified mix?

    Welcome to GMI.
Hi mikmak & thanks for the welcome.

Due to my constant tinkering and regular modifications it became a necessity for me to learn how to tune. Definitely not a master tuner... but I have managed some modest improvements by constantly logging and fine tuning utilising efiLive. So the conversation with my tuner is usually fairly brief
That being said I have done extensive research on the pros & cons of LPG & forced induction - there are extensive pros & very few cons .

The LPG conversion that I am currently running injects the LPG as a liquid rather than a vapour. Therefore the intake air-charge benefits from greater air density (sometimes referred to as in cylinder intercooling). I achieved a gain of around 10rwkw just from fitting the LPG system.

The car runs straight PULP or straight LPG. It doesnt switch between the fuels or mix the fuels once running.

As a little inspiration for my supercharging adventure I often admire the results that APS (Melbourne) have achieved:

    Quick update.

    A trip to the 1/4 mile recently resulted in a 12.7 @ 113.2 MPH
That was running normal 225 street tyres & on LPG.
Will now try and get the supercharger on before the next run.
