Funny how pride can do that for a car.

I finally got another mod done the other day. It had been so long! I got it washed up today and took a picture with my crappy cell phone.

Pride is a weakness to be exploited. What we have here is more about respect.

I finally got the wheels I have been wanting for nearly 4 years now. They are OEM GTP wheels of the G6. They are machined face 18'' by 7''. I am running Goodyear eagle Ls2's for now.

Nice G6...enjoy the 18", had them on my XR but didn't think the LS2 were a very good tire IIRC.

Always wanted to put one of those CRAB intakes on my XR, figuring it was the same basic car as the G6. Is that what you're running?

Thanks man! Yea the LS2 are really ****ty. Driving my car in the rain now is like attempting to walk across a crisco covered hard floor. They were cheap! My CAI is completely custom. Just something I made.

Very nice G6! I loved those wheels, had them on my '08 G6 GT coupe before GM repurchased it. Of all the other chrome 17" equipped cars out there, the small upgraded cost to those 18's made a world of difference.

Although mine was troubled, I very much enjoyed that car...even more in ways than the Malibu I had after. Classy upgrades on yours, which is refreshing given what some other G6's look like.

The G6, GTO, and G8 represent Pontiac finally bringing the right stuff to market... then BAM. Shut down.

I totally agree! I think there was so much more there. With the G6 in particular. I mean the GXP was quick but 254 horsepower is good for a sedan but honda accords are making nearly 275 stock. If they would have stuck with it and made a more high performing I4 or V6 making 300 or more, no problem. I mean the technology is there within GM. The buick regal GS is packin for a 4 banger. Not to mention if they would have produced a new GTO or a new TransAM. And I am not talking about a camaro with a body kit like lingenfelter built, I mean something unique. Maybe someday they will bring it back
