This is big shift forward for Cadillac, no pun intended. Hopefully what you described for the 2.7L L3B engine + 10L transmission marks the end of General Motors using uncompetitive ICE powertrains from the GM Powertrain parts bin in new Cadillac models (e.g., 2.0L LTG & LSY engines; 8L and 9T transmissions).
I hope so! The new 2.0T is a nice engine, but it isn't up to the level of the 2.7/10 speed as far as NVH (I have the XT4 loaner while my ATS is getting its 100,000 mile tune-up).

So...................... what color? Hurry-up, it's time!

I hope these cars are able to make a run and stick around a while; "right car, wrong-time" comes to mind.

    ------------------------

This is usually a relatively easy fix, even if your ATS only has 2-mounting holes.

Drives a 2019 Cadillac ATS Coupe and a 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA.

In the past, I've had a 5th gen Camaro, a CTS sedan and coupe, two 3rd gen Firebird Formulas, a convertible 4th gen Trans Am, a Reatta, a couple of Monte Carlos, an Avenger coupe, a couple of Cavalier hatchbacks, a Saturn SC1, and a Cherokee.

The Sport trim has a mini-spoiler along the top of the trunk, looks a bit better IMO.

I also feel that the brake light in the spoiler of the ATS was a better look and more of a Cadillac look.
The 3rd brake light at the top of the rear window maybe saves a few $$, but maybe it can be seen better
in traffic. I have not read a reason for that change.

When looking at CT4 or CT5, compare the seats. The seats in the Sport, V and CT5 Platinum have more
adjustments and are more comfortable, especially if tall. The leather seats look nicer.

It is not the same car like the ATS. Only things carried over from the ATS is wheelbase, side mirrors and doors handles are it. C-Pillar perhaps also, but this is a second generation SWB of Alpha platform. What matters the most is the general public voting with their money for this car.

Nice review. Same color as my Camaro, Shadow Grey metallic. The 2.7T seems pretty sweet.

Yes it’s a cool-looking color. OK its only one dealer but my local Caddy place is down to one CT5 and zero CT4, they had five and two a couple of months ago (pandemic). So they’re starting to move...and clearly they need inventory.
