Nice, thanks for posting! Welcome to GMI!
I'm really looking forward to trying this car out. Am planning on getting a small car for work commute and this is on my list. I'm hoping it is a near polar opposite of the current Aveo.
Ironically I am renting an Aveo this week. Hatch, LTZ (leatherette trim), etc... This thing absolutely kills my inner child. Any smiles I might posess are completely destroyed the minute I start the thing.
Saw a Sonic LTZ 5-door on Saturday, no turbo badge.

It is the 1.4 turbo from the Cruze.

I just can't stand the rear end though.

2009 Ford F-150 XLT
2007 Acura TSX
The rear design looks incomplete IMO. Similar to the current Malibu. They should have gone with a horizontal taillight design instead of a vertical one. The vertical design doesn't really matches up with the rest of the car.
I prefer the hatchback Sonic over the sedan..
I like the interior of the vehicle...and I like the headlight, tailight details too.
I believe GM has done quite an admirable job with this vehicle. Weighing in 500 lbs less than the cruze..it should be pretty quick...
Of course the 2.0 liter 250hp turbo motor would rape the GTI and should be on the planning boards for GM sooner rather than later..
