Saying goodbye and welcoming a new Chevrolet into the family

Well I'm not much for words so the bottom line is my wife and I were at our local dealership waiting for our free oil change to be completed on my 2014 SS sedan and she saw something that she refused to go home without. We traded in the 2012 Camaro 1LT for this beautiful 2015 Camaro 2SS/RS with polished wheels, black stripe package, and bi-modal exhaust. Now the wife is happy because she is back in a manual trans car.

"The car's brilliant and ... a great surprise, pleasant surprise for all Corvette lovers everywhere ... a huge shock to our competitors ... because I don't think anybody was expecting something that good. What pleases me the most about it was that ... I can say this is the first car that's come out, that was done since I left.

    No offense taken

I told her, since I didn't really like the 14-15 updates to the front and rear fascia, that honestly the only way I liked it was in Heron White with the black stripe package. It makes the black heat extractor (on the hood) and the larger rear (unpainted) diffuser really pop.

Actually I am quite jealous now because that factory bi-modal exhaust sounds better at idle and WOT then my 3" Stainless Works catback sounds on the SS sedan.

Now with the Camaro SS and the SS sedan, we have 841 horsepower in the garage!!!!!!!

Nah that's the way I have dressed since high school. It's my "thing". The only children in our family is 2 cats and our cars!

MiatsoCi, I am jealous of your garage so much more. 2 Yukons, a Z51 Stingray, and an LTZ Impala is quite impressive!

Yes. I don't think it should be an argument that GM has probably the best lineup out there in the $25,000–$100,000 range.

Are the quad tips stock? I thought we only received the dual outlets in the US.

3" Stainless Works cat-back. Sounds great but some drone in the mid-range.

I'll tell you what I wish GM had made the bi-modal exhaust an option on the SS. It sounds as good as the 3" Borla cat-back I had on my 2001 Camaro SS. And that sounded amazing.

That and a Roto-Fab intake are the only mods so far. I was going to cam it this winter but that's going to get pushed to next fall as those funds went to the wife's Camaro that she now caller Vader.

I completely agree. My wife was a Volkswagen Jetta TDI/Honda Civic type of person before I met her. I slowly worked her from a Cruze to a V6 Camaro, and now she is hooked on the full monte Camaro SS. Such an amazing woman.
