This came out of nowhere. I wonder if this SUV is for North America, and if so, what will it be based on?
Maybe "Geo" is coming back, but without the "Geo" ....................
I wonder what Nissan this will be, Juke or Rogue?

Maybe GM is hoping that most of those quality problems have been forgotten. Tracker is good name for a small SUV, just need to make sure the quality is there this time around.
Perhaps it's the name for the U.S.-bound Colorado 7. I love my Tracker, by the way.

There are certain vehicle names that I liked, regardless of the actual vehicle attached to them---names that just sounded like good vehicle names: Avenger, Eclipse, Charger, Avalanche, Firebird----those are just simple good names for vehicles they can be attached to. Tracker fits that mold also. The old Chevy/Geo tracker may not have been reliable, but it was VERY popular in its heyday (I think the 2 door convertible may have been the most desired car by high school and college females of the time.) So, I'm ok with the name if they use it again on a small (smaller than Equinox) SUV/Crossover.
This...I am eager to see if they do anything with. I have said for a while, the perfect SUV/Crossover for us as our second vehicle would be an Encore sized vehicle (maybe a TAD bit bigger but not much) but from Chevy and at a slightly lower pricepoint.
GM also trademarked "ANTHEM" for vehicle use on the same day, 10 May.

Did a little more digging, and found this.
2014 Chevrolet Tracker for sale in Argentina
Though why would GM file a US Patent for a vehicle to be sold in Argentina?

Hope they didn't pay to much for it.
Get used to more.
