Seems to be that the pictures of the car that make it onto the board make the car look better and better each time. I'm really diggin this little pocket rocket. Those wheels look good on the Cobalt and they don't look too hard to keep clean either.

Hey, welcome to GMI ekool! Nice to have a knowledgeable Cobalt member around just incase those import members get out of hand . I have to do something about not being able to see your name, GMC Sonoma's or T-Types name on the board. Maybe I'll have to get another web browser since IE doesn't seem to like the new colourful names on GMI.

What no pics of the engine? Oh wait, thats right GM had most of the hoods closed with the latches disconnected. Which I thought was stupid considering the fact that all the ricers... um I mean tuners were practically getting wood as they stood in awe of the Evo and Scion's engine bay. So I decided since GM wasnt smart enough to take advantage of the fact that these guys wanted to see under the hood I would show it to them. So I reached into the sill plate dug around a little and found the cable and pulled... Pop. I proceded to do the same for every other car whos latch was disconnected including Ion Redline.

I was at NAIAS yesterday (and am going again tomorrow!), and I talked to one of the Lordstown assembly plant guys on hand with the Cobalt. He said that he had been told that the 2.4L wasn't going into the Cobalt until MY 2007. I was greatly disappointed to hear this, and he didn't really have any explanation why, but that was the information he had.

He also said there are no plans at all to put the S/C 2.0L into the 4-door.

Shweet. I still haven't seen a single coupe on the road. Only boring sedans.

Yeah, there is only going to be 2.0L SC coupes. The 4 door will be a sedan with the 2.4L non SC with 170 hp.

2.4 will be an 06, sometime late summer or early fall. SS Supercharged production begins this week - only like 10 or so.
