    Lowering a 2012 Sonic

We're lowering a 2012 Sonic for SEMA, it will have approximately a 2" drop and the car will be rolling 19's. This car is going to be in GM's SEMA booth I believe. I took it for a small test drive, but with the interior being completely stripped out, including seats, the milk carton/crate is a poor substitute for seating...lol. The car does have good acceleration, but I was unable to test how well this things turns because the seat doesn't have much side bolstering.

They chose the sedan for this treatment. Interesting.

The guy who delivered the vehicle had an illustration of what the vehicle is supposed to look like in show car form. Its not everyones cup of tea, but I thought it was cool. It was a multi spoke design wheel, power coated grey. The interior is getting a full custom treatment. It should be cool when all is said and done.

    Is this the 1.8L manual?

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed that the milk crate seating isn't standard.

Cool, it definitely needs to be lowered.

It never fails that SEMA projects start at the last minute, huh?

Since it was stripped like that, can you tell how good the workmanship is?

What shop do you work at? Anyone famous
You can tell that GM really cared about the ATS from day one. If GM cared about all its vehicles that way they would truely be #1.

    First the Sonic Eco

And now the Sonic Budgeto. Aimed at competing with the $10,900 Versa
